This course satisfies Red Bluff, Tehama County or Corning's training requirements to apply for a concealed weapons permit (CCW). You will learn basic pistol handling as well as firearms safety, conflict avoidance, situational awareness and related law. This course is a precursor to the advanced “Every Day Carry” (EDC) course. This class focuses on concealed carry skills:  Working from a holster, movement, use of cover and concealment, multiple threat engagement.  

This training is personalized, enabling people of all skill levels to participate.

Cost:$40. Max 8 people. 2 hours.

Our basic pistol class was developed by USCCA and uses their “Defensive Shooting Fundamentals” curriculum.  It is a three hour class involving 2 hours classroom time and 1 hour range time, putting our fundamentals to practical use. You will learn firearm safety, and how to operate a semi-automatic pistol and get rounds on target as you move from point shooting to aimed defensive fire. Contact us to set up a class!

This two hour course is designed for any organization or group concerned about their response to an active violence situation.  It is taught entirely at your organization’s facility and provides the information and training needed for a cogent, immediate response.

Class is limited to 15 people.  Cost is $750.  TAK PAC emergency medical kits are also available.

MIFCPL is proud to host a personal self defense class focusing on fundamentals.

This is an all day advanced CCW course building on your initial CCW course. It is range-intensive. You will learn how to effectively work from concealment and how to make good decisions as possible threats present themselves. The nature of the class requires successful completion of our CCW class or previous equivalent training. Check the schedule, or classes can be set up 

We are always happy to work with you either one-on-one, or with a group of your loved ones. Personal training is $80 an hour, and we will work on anything you would like, or are happy to assess where you are, and help make a plan to become a better, safer shooter.
