Michigan and California Firearms Instruction
We are blessed to operate nationally. The schedule lists both California (CCW) and Michigan (CPL) classes, as well as other training such as our 2 hour trainings every Monday, weather permitting, both in MI and CA. How to Register for a Class
Simply send an email to mark@mifcpl.com with the class and date as the subject.
Your email needs to include your name (as on your driver's license), address, phone number and email address. You will get a detailed email about your class about a week before. It is always ok to ask questions by email too!
We now require a down payment (not for Monday trainings) of one half the class cost, payable by check, Zelle or Venmo. This downpayment is non-refundable but may be applied to another class or item should you need to cancel.
California CCW
CA CCW certification is available for the counties of Tehama, Glenn, and the cities of Red Bluff and Corning. Classes are taught in Corning.
16 hour, two day initial class $290
8 hour renewal class $140
Weekly 2 hour Training $30
Michigan CPL
MI CPL certification is taught in Casco, Palms or Harbor Beach. This 8 hour class costs $120, $60 for the 4 hour renewal class.
Weekly Training is $25
Weekly Defensive Pistol
We train Monday evenings in both Casco MI and Corning CA. Sessions are geared to the individual, so whether you are new to shooting or an experienced professional this is a way to build skills and keep your edge. Instructor Training
Are you interested in becoming an MCRGO (Michigan Coalition for Responsible Gun Owners) certified instructor? There will be instructor classes this Summer in SE. Michigan. Email mark@mifcpl.com for questions or more information.
YOUR CLASS
Please be on time. Bring your driver's license, handgun, ammunition, eye and ear protection, a sack lunch and a good attitude. Although not always required, bring your holster and mag pouches. If you need to borrow any equipment, let us know in advance. Check or cash is accepted. Do not bring uncased or loaded guns into the classroom. MI CPL classes bring 50 rounds. CA CCW classes bring 50 rounds for each gun, and an additional 200 rounds for your primary gun.

Teaching mainly in Casco, MI and Corning, CA, Mark and the team run CPL/CCW classes, advanced defensive pistol and defensive shotgun classes, rifle classes and periodic training.

Certified Range Officers
MI Firearm and CPL Training uses certified ROs for all training. Mark is an NRA Chief Range Safety Officer and certificated USPSA Range Official.
